Were there early May, grandchildren loved it!

Returned in April after a long pause … very busy but well worth waiting for. Maybe not everybody’s ‘cup of tea’ but we still loved the whole experience.

Finally back again April this year. Recent facebook ‘opinions’ created some trepidation but, thankfully, these were quickly discounted. Everything as good and reliable as previous years, has fast become our family favourite.

We were there in April this year, all 9 of us including 3 small children! For the first time ever we were actually a little underwhelmed with the experience, it felt as though they hadn’t fully got their act back together after all the problems. We were particularly disappointed with the rather bland and uninteresting child options, much better next door in the steak house.

Our son-in-law frequents Facebook and has been trawling through posts there. Apparently the beach and pools have been cordoned off while members are ‘confined’ to their apartments though are able to stroll in the gardens.

We are due out there in 6 weeks; keeping our fingers crossed but are prepared for likely disappointment. But, our and our family’s health is more important.

Many thanks for your comprehensive reply 10/6. Sorry, but I have only now managed to re-visit the site. The information contained is extremely useful and very clear; thank you very much for giving your valuable time to do so.

Forgot to mention we own a floating week so how likely do you think it is that Anfi will try to redress the situation by ‘allocating’ a week?

First off, please excuse my ignorance of the following matters.

Can I ask Richard; you state that option 1 is the best way of ensuring Anfi’s survival and preserving it for our future generations. There is nothing in the official papers that, as far as we can see, state this categorically. The “perpetuity” aspect has been concerning for some months now. Could I ask how option 1 will be applied to maintain a semblance of perpetuity? Since buying in we had been, wrongly, reasonably comfortable in the knowledge that we would be able to pass it over to our children. What will we need to do should option 1 be acceptable as the explanations only talk about owners, not their dependants. 2048 is a long way off and there is an increasing likelihood that we won’t be around then. It’s probably something that we should have looked into already, but, will we need to (1) transfer ownership to the children in the reasonably near future or (2) add them to our names on the ownership or (3) will “willing” the ownership over to them be accepted by Spanish authorities as a valid transfer of ownership.

    Sorry for the rambling.

All 8 of us went for breakfast; what a big disappointment, really gone down since last year. Poor selection, cooked breakfast barely warm. Probably look elsewhere next year.

As chaotic and surly as usual, but the food is still a delight. It takes a steady hand to control the complementary rum bottle at the end!!

Yep, a few weeks ago, still one of our favourites. Usual warm welcome by Ramone and staff. Sometimes one’s menu choice may slightly skew an opinion but, generally, quality as usual.

Back again this year, but with the whole family – 6 adults, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old. The staff could not do enough for us, they were absolutely superb. The food seems to get better and better each year. The preparation and taste of the barbecued rib-eye was a sight to behold while the snapper was as divine as usual. Certainly marked down as a favourite by all.

That’s interesting. We are AVC members but have never been given a freebie on our annual pilgrimage, always billed; always given to understand it was only free for ‘points’ members. Can somebody clarify while I also chase AVC.
