    Hello Brian,

Thanks for taking the time to comment.  I received your email at 05:27 this morning.  Are you that keen or perhaps in another time zone?

In my naivety I assumed that all one bedroom apartments in ABC would “enjoy” the same maintenance costs and hence Anfi owners would rent accordingly.  I know there is a price difference between a studio, one bed, two bed and a penthouse.

My fee for one week in a one bed in September is €567 (£511).  You mention that your fee is €671.  Is this like for like or are you paying €100 extra for something else?

I also have one week in a two bed at Tauro charged at €726.  My AVC fee is €219.

I completely understand that owners can ask what the like for rent and if someone is willing to pay, then good luck to them.  Perhaps some owners may be trying to claw back some of the original purchase price for their weeks and again I can appreciate this.

    Best wishes,

    Derek

    Thanks Ian.

I agree that some apartments are more desirable, but one man’s ground floor is another man’s high floor.  The only ones less attractive in ABC are on the fifth floor with restrictive views.  Being a points member I have stayed in many different apartments all over the resort and have been happy with all of them.

I have recently been in contact with someone who wants £700 plus guest certificate for one week in ABC.  When I suggested this was a bit much as my maintenance fee for my fixed week is £500 she told me her fee was considerably more.

    Regards,

    Derek

    Hello Brian,

I stand corrected. Using both the Anfi.com website and the Anfi application I can see only back to 2015. I must have been linked to my long term memory when I wrote on AnfiUK. Personally I am not interested in my history more than two or three years back. However, I am sure that other members will have reasons to go back further and if the Anfi staff are able to access all historical points data then the members should also have access. I mentioned that I was given a printout of all my points history back to 2009 while I was at Anfi, but I was only interested in my recent activity and to check my points balance and to make sure they had a record of my deposited weeks.

    Regards,

    Derek

I am able to view my points history back to 2009.  I have recently returned from Anfi where I obtained a full history printout from 200 to 2021 from the AVC office.

    Derek

I now have the “Go Back” leaflet from Anfi.  The prices are as described above.  There is a 2 Euro charge per month for a smaller case plus the same 15 Euro collect and 15 Euro deliver charges.  I think this is quite reasonable if you normally take luggage.  Personally, it is not for us as we travel with a small rucksack each, hence avoiding baggage charges and check-in queues.  However, we may be interested in this service in a few years if our requirements change.

    Thanks for the information Julie.

We usually travel light – hand luggage only, but occasionally would like to take a few more items.  This may be an answer.

    Thanks David,

I shall be at ABC in a couple of weeks, so I shall be able to get more information.
