hello thanks for preparing this newsletter, it answered many questions that all members were probably thinking about.

I was interested in the end of the newsletter that you mentioned the lose of loved ones who owned and visited regularly to Anfi del Mar.

Well in the last 9 months my dear mother Margaret Rushton aged 90 and then my dear father Kenneth Rushton  aged 94  have passed away..  My parents were there at the very start of Anfi, way back in 1990 or maybe 1991, they bought when there was only block one, no  pool, and no garden. They were blown away by Mr Lyng’s

plans for this resort, they stopped going about 14 years ago, they actually sold through your resale service, all went so smoothly, and with the proceeds, built a lovely conservatory at their bungalow home in St Ives Cornwall.. They visited Anfi every year, saw all the blocks built at Anfi Beach, then Puerto Anfi then Monte then Gran Anfi.   We visited with them the year Puerto was officially opened, there was free champagne to all rooms and a firework display.  We purchased early 2000’s  and have visited every year apart from Covid years. My parents loved there holidays there, my father enjoyed swimming in the Anfi pools every day, and in the sea. They had to sell due to my mothers failing health, but they enjoyed listening to our stories of our holidays there too, It was their happy place, relaxing, warm, and sunny, a home from home.

Success I have received the Guest Certificate, it has taken 21 days.  I wish to thank my renter for their patience.

Thank you Brian for taking the time to reply to my problems with obtaining  guest certificate for week 41.. The delays I have experienced are ,no replies to e mails, just the auto response, which means your e mail is received, but you have no idea when it will be dealth with.  I have made my  payment for the GC on 16th September, this was after my second phone call chasing up the issue.  Now I will probably have to telephone again as I have not received an e mail containing the actual  GC.  I have a receipt e mail for the payment I  made on 16th September.  So this service, which isnt a free service is very patchy indeed.

I have my weeks advertised for rental. I have been informed by the Treasurer  that I have e mails enquiring about the rentals but I have not received them. I have tried to find the enquiries on this site and I can’t find them. So Where can I view the enquires and Why have the enquiry e mails not been forwarded to me.  Thanks.

Any progress on finding out if RCI will accept Anfi Beach Club weeks?  Completely lost our 2  weeks in 2020, they are October weeks, but we considered it risky to travel at that time due to the quickly changing UK government and FCO advise on travelling.  So we  are now in the same limbo for 2021.  We are not members of RCI but are considering joining so that we can bank our October 2021 weeks, and salvage something from the financial loss of 2 years maintenance fees. So woul be pleased to hear any update.

We are a little suspicious of the e mail we received yesterday offering weeks up to 28th December 2020 to members of Anfi, at a discount of 430 euros per week.

I deleted the e mail. without clicking through any further, I have just checked on the Anfi.com website and no such offer is listed directly from Anfi themselves.

So maybe it is a scam e mail. has anyone else had an e mail offering discount weeks. does anyone now if its bona fide.?

Our Journey to the airport on Monday 22nd October was delayed due to the roadworks.  We were using the Anfi transfer bus.  At no time did anyone inform us of the delays.  Anfi Beach Club reception failed to inform us of the roadworks firstly at check in and how it may affect our holiday,  secondly on collection of our bus tickets on Friday evening, thirdly on Sunday evening when we paid our Anfi account, and fourthly on check out proper on Monday morning.   A note could have been placed in our “welcome home” folder on check in.   A notice of a physical type in reception would have been helpful, we did see a flash notice on the Anfi Reception TV but it was so fast it was impossible to read, and as the video is on a loop who knows how long you would have to wait to see it pop up again.  Slight oversight here in my opinion. Our arrival time at the airport was ok in the end.  Still love Anfi though
