Anyone else having problems paying Maintenance fees via Anfi website. We have tried 4 times over the past 2 weeks and each time the credit card has been denied. We rang Anfi (40 minutes!) only to be told it must be our credit card/provider!. We asked if we could pay over the phone but was told ” our credit card machine will only accept chip and pin”
We checked our credit card provider (Tesco) who confirmed that no attempt had been made by Anfi to accept the payment and told us to ring Anfi again!!!
Hi John, sorry for the late reply to your post. We are owners of a floating week at Monte and we purchased it privately approx 9 years ago (after initially buying whilst on holiday in GC, but cancelled during the cooling off period). Anfi don’t really “like us, as private purchases.” Why do we have to pay 40 euros to cancel? what happens if we don’t pay this amount (will we simply loose this week for 2020)?
Slightly off piste – we received a parking ticket whilst visiting Las Palmas. When we asked at Monte reception re paying the fine, Dororis simply shrugged her shoulders, gave a smile and ripped it up. It was a “con” issued to tourists in hire cars.
A big thank you went to Dororis
We have a week booked at Monte of late April and emailed Anfi to advise that due to the lockdown, we would not be arriving but wish to take our week later in the year (hopefully). I had a quick reply from Ryan T Johnson of Customer Care Dept stating ” I can issue a pay link to cancel the booking and this will allow you to rebook for later in the year”.
The next email from Anfi was directing us to pay 40 euros cancellation fee!
We are not wanting to cancel, simply postpone due a Pandemic,
Are Anfi taking the .iss?
