At the beginning of the year I emailed Maria Hidalgo to say that I would be signing the updated contract and that I was disappointed to loose all my previous years points which customers services had said I would not loose. The reply back was that as soon as the signed documents were received at her end that they would make sure that any points lost from the previous year are recouped as accommodation vouchers. Has anybody any information on these vouchers, how they received them, when they expired and what they entitled them to.

Did just what you said and requested new password which came back by email within seconds. I thought I was onto a winner but unfortunately was just the same as before. I then tried something that I have used on the occasional banking transfer problems and that was to clear from Safari all history and website data and low and behold everything went through fine.
So thank you Robert I got there in the end!

This morning I thought I might as well begrudgingly pay my maintenance fee but like yourself found no ‘Pay’ button. By reset the password am I right in saying you just changed your password? I have tried entering the same email address and the same password with no luck. Logged in and out a few times also but still no good.

The points balance on the Anfi website is still reading ‘Contract : 0’. I will email them to get the figure reinstated if they are agreeable, just for piece of mind.
09/10/2020 at 8:22 pm #59839I have now twice had to cancel my visit to Anfi, the first in April and now September. I asked by email when I cancelled whether l might get a 60% refund of the maintenance fee or a voucher to be used next year as I would have originally have been in the weeks 11-20 ( no harm in trying) The reply I received said that my weeks had now been cancelled but no mention of anything else. I enquired how many points I had and how many points I would lose at the end of the year they replied 27,400 and 1,200 expiring which meant I still had two years points for next year as well as a further years points come January!
So there seems to be an assortment of answers to the questions asked, in my case it has worked out well.03/10/2020 at 1:13 pm #59723Hi Jayne
I enquired to AVC by email about cancelling my two weeks to Monti and whether if I had left my April booking as it was I would still get either a voucher or a partial refund (didn’t think it likely but what’s the harm in a little grovelling). I received a reply saying they had cancelled the two weeks but no other comments. I emailed again to ask what points I had and they replied with a figure which equated to over two years! I was confused by this but also quite happy as I had had all my points returned. I still did not truly believe it so I asked how many points I would loose at the end of the year? The reply was just the excess over the two years points which meant I still had all my 2019 points to use in 2021! I still can’t believe it.
Thanks for the info about your own use of points with RCI, II and Expedia, it still leaves me confused and uncertain whether to use them or not. As an example with the points I have just had returned as they are from 2019 what would the trading power be? I assume a lot less than if I had given my points to RCI when I paid my maintenance at the start of the year. Also can I find the trading power of my points without actually depositing? With Expedia how does points equate to the cost of the holiday and how does AVC know which holiday I am looking at when I book, is it by a reference number?
Sorry to quiz you with my own questions, stay safe. -
