Thanks Brian, hoping the grill do my homemade tikka some justice. 🙂

13/07/2017 at 7:34 am #13900We have for some years now – after having paid near £2000 rtn for the four of us back in 2012 – booked flights pretty much as soon as the schedule comes out. Also in order NOT to have to be on a late arriving return journey we have booked with Iberia express for the return journey – via Madrid. It works out much cheaper. Normally we would be looking at £300-£325 PP fully loaded.
However, I have just checked today, for similar flights we are due to be on from 22/7 – 5/8 – amazed to find the basic pp price on SkyScanner MAN-LPA is a low £236 pp.
Like has been said, its risky leaving it late, but if you did you would be saving somewhat.

03/07/2017 at 8:29 am #13547Hi Robert
So far as I can recall, Los Canarios 1 is open during the summer, but closed Monday’s.
Julia’s has been closed on occasion.
Normally the TA details for each are up to date including opening hours.

12/06/2017 at 2:22 pm #12612I think the advantage of seeing when a post has been updated most recently is very important on this topic.
I am happy to, when in Anfi this time, to create the “Places” for each restaurant that I update on the Forum. That is if they don’t yet exist.
If you tell me how to link the “Places” entry back to the forum entry – I can do that at the same time. Is it simply a case of cutting and pasting the url to the forum entry?
Regards, Liam
12/06/2017 at 2:11 pm #12611Hi yes its is (or next door but one) but it is the first place on the right hand side as you come up the centre stairwell.
They also do very good lamb.
Regards, Liam
12/06/2017 at 2:07 pm #12610Nice tip – re the lamb – how is it cooked, just roasted slowly?
Any other dishes not on the menu?
Regards, Liam.
11/06/2017 at 10:32 am #12535Just to clarify is it now the m.o. to comment on restaurants in PLACES ?
I am still seeing comments/reviews in the old restaurants section.

11/06/2017 at 10:09 am #12533MAny thanks for the detailed information. On the thread I refer to, it was mentioned that the restaurants enlisted included SW222 (Radisson) can anyone comment on that as it is not listed on the member benefits area.
Thanks! Liam
29/05/2017 at 8:14 am #11781Hi Brian
when you say just past Valentinos, is it part of the pool complex that used to be open a few years ago, serving the best pint on the coast? I think was called the Tropical cafe.

28/05/2017 at 7:54 am #11750How is the pace of service these days?
When this place first came on these scene the most common theme was slow service, yet excellent food.
All the best.

23/05/2017 at 11:53 am #11544Hi – yes the path you described above does work.
The menu item on the RHS does not. I will drop the web admin a note,.
Thanks
23/05/2017 at 7:22 am #11534The new layout /UI is not very intuitive in terms of navigation. There seems to be not any element of the simplest guidance – tree structure – at all.
The most rudimentary of forums would have such a structure, and some form of user friendly indication to highlight attributes such as, most popular (by volume of reads); unread posts; most recently posted, rating (user rating is another great way of indicating popularity).
Having a core settings facility for personalisation such as subscription settings – what I want to see, what I want to be notified when it is updated etc. simple functions can enable the user to define what they are interested in, and therefore see at login – rather than having to navigate from the start each time.
User experience is impacted by this, and if I weren’t a member for reasonable amount of time and as such I remember the general threads I am interested in then I would have probably given up a long time ago.
This is not intended to be overly critical, but honest feedback as requested near the start of this thread.
