Very useful.  Thanks for this.  I’ll be there in a little over a week so looking forward to trying some of these.  Which was your favourite for dinner?

Since I signed up with this club a week or so ago I have had 3 calls (1 from UK and 2 from Tenerife) wanting to either offer me legal advice or see if I was entitled to claim something.  I wonder if there isn’t a spy in this group and I wonder how they have found both my landline and mobile phone numbers.  I didn’t enter into conversation with them so don’t know what exactly they were after.  Since I have never had these calls before I’m a bit suspicious that they are hacking this website.  Any thoughts?

Brian, no, they were not on the original contract. My husband passed away and they are mentioned in the equivalent to your probate. (I live in Belgium).  They are not interested in the timeshare so Anfi want them to sign something to relinquish any ownership so I can have it 100% in my name.  So they are asking for copies of their passports before they will even send this document.    Yes, I have requested a voucher for my week 9 as we not permitted to travel in March. They will give me the voucher they say when the contract is in order.   I have a brother-in-law in Spain who is a lawyer.  I was wondering if I could get him to draw up a letter on behalf of the lads saying they have no interested in the timeshare.

    Thanks for your help.

Thank you very much for this David.

We bought in 1999 so it would appear that I can sign the contract when I receive it.  We hear so many horror stories about passport fraud.  That’s my stepson’s concern.  He is trying to be careful and doesn’t trust timeshare companies.  I’m hoping we can get around it perhaps by having his signature witnessed.  They both did stay there but it’s about 20 years ago.  I don’t suppose they keep records that long.

Thanks again for your reply.  It’s very helpful.
