Has anyone eaten here recently?
It’s always closed when we are at Anfi in June, but we will be here this month.
Thanks
Robert
12/11/2019 at 3:54 pm #50373Quite embarrassed to say that I have filled this form for the first time, despite owning for over 10 years. I will post it tomorrow.

15/07/2019 at 12:57 pm #44296I’ll have a look but Ive never had to look for anything like this. First thing that pops into my mind is the Dakota hotel that sits just off the M8.
08/07/2019 at 11:30 am #43941I would certainly do my best to get to a meet up in the Glasgow or Edinburgh area.
08/07/2019 at 11:24 am #43939Still enjoy this place when I visit!
I was the last person to review this back in January.
Has anyone else visited since then?
08/07/2019 at 11:21 am #43938Can’t believe I was the last person to review this place back in January.
Still my number 1!!
08/07/2019 at 11:19 am #43937We ate here back in June, as my wife fancied something on the menu.
I never fancied much from their grill so I decide to order a pizza-it says its made by Bella Pasta next door. An Italian restaurant can do a great pizza-right?? wrong.
I think I have had my fill of most of the eating places onsite now-most of them lack any value or service.
08/07/2019 at 11:11 am #43936Went here a few times for a take away lunch-very good food and service-the guy even gave me a Spanish lesson!!
Also popped in for a burger before we headed home-they are hand made on the premises and you can tell the difference. Looking forward to going back.
If you haven’t tried-give them a try.
08/07/2019 at 11:04 am #43935If I could retract my previous post I would.
We popped in on the 1st June for. quick nibble as we had arrived very late.
Food was ok, but the staff just couldn’t be bothered-they have had the last euro from me!!
08/07/2019 at 10:59 am #43934I’ve never really saw it being used any of the times I have been there.
I saw this being removed at the beginning of June (Apologies, I should have posted sooner)
08/07/2019 at 10:57 am #43933I can certainly recommend. We popped in a couple of nights at the start of June. The owner is a fully trained sommelier, very pleasant to chat to and I’m sure he will show you all his award certificates behind the bar.
Other outlets onsite could learn a thing or two about service from him.
Looking forward to going back in January.
28/03/2019 at 3:21 pm #37721Got an email from Ryanair to say they had changed our flight time from Edinburgh in June, now leaving Edinburgh & GC around 6 hours later. They gave us the option to cancel if we wanted, as it was over a 3 hour change.
I tried ‘online chat’ and also tried calling them to ask why it had changed. On both chat and call I got through to some numpty who just could not understand why I was asking this and I also explained I could rebook and save money-could’nt they just refund me the difference, but they couldn’t understand why I didn’t just want to cancel.
Came off the phone in a mood and double checked online.
I called Ryanair again to cancel, they processed a full refund, I went back onto their site and rebooked, sitting in the exact same seats (as they had come available again after the cancellation) and saved the £85!!
Could have done without the hassle, but I suppose I’ll just have to have a nice lunch on Mr O’Leary!!
All in all we booked 2x flights, reserved seating and 1 x 20 Kilo luggage each way between us for £328
29/01/2019 at 10:30 am #34973As far as I am aware you can only claim if you bought directly from Anfi, not resale.

23/01/2019 at 1:09 pm #34707We ate here twice last week, the first night I couldn’t believe how packed it was-we were lucky to get a table. Food, service and value were great as usual. Well worth a visit for anyone who hasn’t been.
23/01/2019 at 1:04 pm #34706We ate here last week-it was quite busy and the food and service were great as usual. Still my #1 restaurant when we go to Anfi.
23/01/2019 at 1:01 pm #34705We only popped in here one late evening for a drink, I think there was only 6 people there including us, and 2 of them left within 5 minutes.
Never seemed busy

23/01/2019 at 12:58 pm #34704We stopped in here for a bite to eat last week and were pleasantly surprised. It was the busiest restaurant at Anfi all week-morning noon and night!!
Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing refined about it but we had very tasty burgers, great and very quick service (I hate waiting for ages to pay a bill)
To be honest, hard to fault it-it was busy and there were empty plates everywhere.
Regards
Robert
23/01/2019 at 12:53 pm #34703Only popped in for a pizza to take to the apartment-it was lovely and better service than the usual grumpy faces you get at Tapas Tapas or whatever its called now.
Incidentally, a Margherita Pizza was €6.90 compared to Tapas Tapas which was €9.95 for the same size Margherita-when you put that into percentage difference its huge!!

23/01/2019 at 12:49 pm #34701Fingers crossed I haven’t had too many problems of late. The most recent was when they done the 2 for 1 weeks around 3 years ago, and as a resale owner of 2 weeks, I was bottom of the pile.
We just came back from Anfi on Monday night and I called this morning and spoke to an English lady called Fiona who was very helpful and quick and rebooked for next January.
She also helped us a couple of weeks ago when I changed my week in June from a Monday to s Saturday as the flights were considerably cheaper.
It may depend who you get on the phone, incidentally I have NEVER booked or requested weeks by email.
Regards
Robert
09/01/2019 at 7:53 pm #33962Hi Brian
Managed to get Anfi to change the date to the Saturday and went with Ryanair, flying from Edinburgh.
By the time we added reserved seats and a suitcase between us it came to £414.
We saved £435 off the price TUI wanted for the same thing. Simply too good to knock back.
Ryanair have their haters, but to be honest Ive found them ok.
07/01/2019 at 9:45 pm #33846We are looking at booking for June from Glasgow .
We have normally gone with TUI, but they are getting expensive. We are currently looking at about £350 per person flying from Glasgow on a Monday, and that’s before we add suitcases.
Ryanair (AAghh!) – We can fly from Edinburgh on the Saturday with good flight times for under £300 for both of us, before we add suitcases!!
I’ve flown with them twice before and never really had any problems they got me there and back on time-or thereabouts.
I now need to see if Anfi is available for the Saturday changeover. Fingers crossed.
17/10/2018 at 1:48 pm #30853When we were out in June, Gran was looking great.
Looked a bit like Anfi in the old days when you look back at old photos.
