You’ve been lucky, I’ve been waiting 2 years now and still haven’t had a sniff of a pre-trial date.
I have been told that someone from JLCA will respond by the end of the week. I hope I don’t have to wait another year just to get started.

It’s been 2 years in April and I still haven’t been to a pre-trial yet. I keep asking Emma and get the same reply “We are still waiting for the Courts to set a date for the Pre-Hearing“.
I’m beginning to loose hope as the longer it goes on, the awards are getting smaller. If I’m not careful, I will end up owing them money.

Thanks for your mail. I did contact JLCA and my reply is below. It’s 2 years next month and I am now feeling that I may come out the loser in this case.

The online system is no longer working, but not to worry, you can contact us anytime you need!!!
We are still waiting for the Courts to set a date for the Pre-Hearing. Your procedure has had a lot of judicial delay. There was a writ that we presented in September to push your claim forward and the lawyer has also been in contact with the Procurador, so they can also try to push it forward. We believe we may soon receive the date for the Pre-Hearing.
As soon as we receive the date, we will let you know.

I looked at the internal system when we first got the Password & Username. I looked again but there is still no data on it. Should there not be some information recorded?
It’s one of the reasons I am so unsettled about the claim as well as the vague replies on-line.
Anyway, I’ve mailed poor Emma again and asked her to see if she could check on it.

Thanks for your reply. I was feeling a bit wary, as in the last 9 months, any time I ask JLCA for an update, I got some vague replies. Last November, they said that it was hoped to have a pre-trial date by the end of the year. Yesterday, I was told there was very little movement. As you suggested, I will just have to be patient. 😊
