Anfi Plaza, Beach and Marina

General Information

There are two main areas for shops and services: along the access road towards Monte Anfi/Gran Anfi and the Anfi Plaza & Heart Island, which is situated at beach level in front of Club Puerto Anfi.

There are four restaurants, one bar, an ice-cream parlour, a shopping centre and clothes shop directly off the plaza; with another two restaurants, bar, ice cream parlour and swimwear shop located along the beach front. A branch of the Fund Grube shop has opened in the plaza area, enabling the Spar shop to relocate to much larger premises in the shopping centre.

Near Reception for Puerto Anfi/Monte Anfi you will find a Car Hire office, currently run by Cicar and a new coffee shop, Anfitron Coffee, which has received some favourable comments. Along the road towards Anfi Beach Club is a new Gym & Wellness Centre (email: anfiwellnesscentre@gmail.com or phone
(+34) 928 128 955 Ext: 1653). They are open Monday-Friday 0900-1700. Anfi also offer the Anfi Training Camp for fitness fanatics. This is based in Gran Anfi. Along the same entrance road, but this time towards Gran Anfi, is the resident Doctor and medical service.

Visitors cannot fail to notice the Marina and the heart-shaped island with its lawns and bust of founder Bjorn Lyng. It is home to the Maroa restaurant (https://maroaclubdemar.com/en/) and now also has a ‘chill out’ area with some hot tubs, deluxe sun loungers and massage services. You will often see wedding celebrations being held on the island with receptions hosted in Maroa.

The Luis Molina water-sports activity centre (https://www.watersportsluismolina.com/en/) is on the beach. They offer parascending, jetski, paddleboards, dune buggys etc. There is a PADI accredited Scuba Sur diving centre (https://scubasur.net/) at the end of the path beyond the marina. On the way to the scuba centre you will pass another restaurant, currently home to the Namaste India restaurant.

Some limited evening entertainment events are held in the plaza along with a small collection of market stalls. The Benito childrens’ club also meets in front of the stage in the evening.

There are also a number of musical entertainers throughout the week in the Helamore Ice Cream Parlour, which adds a Cocktail Bar in the evenings, the Havana Bar and also sometimes in the Maroa restaurant on the island.

The Plaza, Island, Marina and Beach areas are not currently run by Anfi.
